My kids had a blast doing this. The event coordinator was extraordinarily helpful when I purchased less tickets than needed after the event sold out. Thanks so much!
We showed up two hours early as directed. We stood in the rain for over an hour and got soaked. We were herded into an overcrowded stairwell with loud, obnoxious music to wait. Some dude on a PA kept making announcements, but nobody could understand him.
KP showed up late. We were informed that the time would not be added to the one-hour window, so we would have to have our cameras open and ready for a quick photo, nothing more. Three hundred people saying hello within an hour is logistically impossible, but that's part of the scam.
We got to KP and handed off our camera. The random dude taking the phone snapped a few photos, which came out horrible. We were reassured that the company took backup photos. KP was very friendly. This is not a review of him.
Multiple emails were sent to the company asking for a photo link. Customer service was evasive and, on one occasion, rude. They finally showed me where the link was, in a very small find within a larger document. We finally accessed the photos taken by their professional photographer. The lighting was fine, but the photos were also garbage.
I have been to other meet-and-greets with other companies. Every other experience was great. This company is horrible. They just want your money. They do not desire to make the experience or the customer service you receive after the event enjoyable.
You have other options. Think long and hard before you spend your hard-earned money with these people. You're welcome!
Charles. sorry you had an unfortunate experience. It seems to be the outlier as most everyone had a great time. I wanted to clarify a few points you made. These events aren't a profit center for us. In fact we subsidize the events so that fans get more value and makes it more accessible to people who otherwise wouldn't be able to attend. For instance, most events of this nature charge for an autograh and charge a separate amount equal to the autograph for a photo opportunity. We try to bundle it and overexplain that in order to offset the costs involved with renting the venue, booking the athlete etc. we have to limit the interaction to just the photo and forgo onversations with the athlete that will prevent kids at the end of the line from being seen. Due to protests in Boston that day, Kristaps was running about 40 min behind schedule and while we did make many updates over the PA system, you may not have heard them. Kristaps spent the entire hour as promised taking pictures with fans and at no point did we communicate that he wouldn't. As far as the rain which was an unfortunate part of the day, we have excalated that complaint to the good Lord and asked for better weather next time. The photos were posted within 24 hours of the event in the places we said they would be in the product listing. We try our best to overly communicate and outline the nature of the event well ahead of time so people are aware of what to expect before spending their hard earned money. Still, if you didn't happen to read the product listing before purchase, see the multiple signage we had at the event or heard the announcements over the PA system I can see how you may be disappointed. I would encourage you to try some of the other events at other places which are significantly more than what we charge and don't offer the value our events present. In addition, we had an event the very next weekend with four Celtic players that was FREE general admission and we would have loved to have seen you come by for that one. That event had Payton Pritchard taking photos with fans and even engaging in shooting contests with kids. Seems like you may have been having a bad day and I'm not sure anything we did would have made it better. We are aware of the customer service email you sent and the intern's response telling you exactly where to find them on our website. He probably should have given you the link but his intructions were indeed clear and precise. Everything was where we said it would be and we have to accept that sometimes there isn't a love connection. We are ok with that and will keep trying to over deliver.
First time doing a Pop Up Meet and Greet and besides meeting Kristop Porzingis who is absolutely gracious and has the BEST energy, the event itself was super fun and well planned! We had a blast and even waiting was exciting!
My 8 year old son and husband attended the meet and greet. They arrived early as requested and still had to wait 1.5 past the start time of the meet and greet (3pm) for him to arrive. It really left a bad taste in our mouth when it comes to athlete meet and greets. Seems like him (or likely his handlers) had no regard for people who spent ALOT of money to meet him and get a picture. The items were cool, my son loved them. The signed picture was kinda old (I believe from 2023) and not the clearest shot. We are still waiting to get the professional picture with him via email.
Sorry Annabelle for the experience. I will have the owner give you a buzz. I can't speak to how late the event started but sometimes these things are beyond our control. I am glad to see your son had a great time.
** note: Kristaps arrived 40 min late and much of it had to do with traffic from protests happening in Boston. Peridic updates were provided over the PA system. The photos from the event were posted 24 hours after the event on our social media account bio and website as described in the product description at the time of order. The photo he signed was a licensed photo from Fanatics from a professional AP photographer. Our meet & greets do cost but are subsidized by our company so we can avoid charging market value for the experience. We further add to the value by including merchandise to take the sting off paying to meet an athlete.
We’re always adding new products to our collection, join our email list for notifications and exclusive discounts.
